Nature’s Gifts

By Clinical Director, Michelle Graff

Being in nature is clinically proven to help reduce stress, clear the mind, feel more grounded and at peace. It can increase our attention capacity, creativity and ability to connect with other people by boosting endorphins, our natural body chemicals that elicit a sense of pleasure. There is something about nature that renews us, allows us to feel and think better and to deepen our understanding our ourselves and others. According to researchers “gratitude and mindfulness, beauty and serenity are inherent in nature, The silence of nature quiets the mind and offers a person the opportunity to get in touch with the core of the self.”

Think you have to spend hours in the woods? Spending just five minutes in nature offers significant benefits.

And here is the Mindfulness/Meditation Workshop information….

Please join The COPE Foundation along with James D’Aconti from The Mindful Place for Walking Meditation and Mindfulness on the picturesque grounds of the Cedarmere Estate.
